Before packing, check this list of items prohibited from entering a particular country or region.
Unfortunately, some shipments are being rerouted due to international tensions in the Red Sea, causing delays. Please read our blog article for more information.
How do I arrange a boxes and bags shipment collection?
One of the main reasons our boxes and bags shipping service is so popular is its simplicity.
First, get a free instant quote by entering what you wish to ship and the shipment's destination address. Next, select your preferred transportation method, place your order, and choose a convenient date for us to deliver our top-quality packing materials and empty boxes (if you've added them to your order). Then, pack your belongings at your leisure and, when ready, contact our customer support team to book a shipment collection.
When arranging a boxes and bags shipment collection, you must provide us with an accurate list of what to collect, including:
- The amount and types of boxes we have supplied (if you have used them),
- The amount and sizes of any suitcases or other containers you have used,
- Any large items, such as bicycles, snowboards, etc.
While we understand providing the list above can be tricky when booking, as you might still need to pack, this information is essential for a smooth collection.
If our driver arrives and discovers more to pick up than planned, they might not have sufficient space in their van. So, a new collection will have to be arranged, incurring extra charges and delays — something we're keen for you to avoid!

Shipment collections via our trusted partners
A list of what to collect is also essential when one of our partners conducts a collection.
We sometimes use a local partner when unable to send our own vehicle. You can check this by referring to your quote's "Available Days" section —activities with "Partner" in brackets (as shown in the example below) are conducted by a trusted supplier.
As our partners often operate slightly differently from us, we'll need to provide you with additional guidance. And for that, first and foremost, we need an accurate idea of what there is to collect.
How our partner shipment collections work in each country
When local partners conduct boxes and bags shipment collections, the process varies depending on the country the items are collected from. Here is some handy destination-specific collection advice:
Australia:
- Each item in your shipment to be collected must have its own consignment note securely fastened to it. We include a sheet of 8 barcodes in your shipping boxes delivery.
- During the shipment's collection, the driver will record the item they're picking up, scan a barcode and attach it to it.
- If you have more than 8 items to collect or didn't request a shipping boxes delivery — don't worry. The driver can add more barcodes if necessary.
New Zealand:
- Each item in your shipment to be collected must have its own consignment note securely fastened to it.
- Once you tell us the number of items to collect, we'll email you the consignment notes for you to print and attach securely to each item.
The EU and the USA:
- Each item in your shipment to be collected must have its own consignment note securely fastened to it. We include these labels in your shipping boxes delivery.
- If you need more labels or didn't request a shipping boxes delivery, please let us know as soon as possible. We will then email you the additional labels for you to print and attach securely to each item.
Canada:
- Each item in your shipment to be collected must have its own consignment note securely fastened to it. We include these labels in your shipping boxes delivery.
- If you need more labels or didn't request a shipping boxes delivery, please let us know as soon as possible. We will then email you the additional labels for you to print and attach securely to each item. However, if you have over six items for collection, we'll use a different partner, and no labels are required. You must still complete the information on the exterior of the boxes you use.
Follow this guidance to avoid your shipment getting lost before we receive it.
