What size are our sturdy shipping boxes?

To ensure you send your items to Thailand safely, we provide reinforced cardboard boxes to keep your possessions in one piece. Low-quality boxes provide poor protection during transit. However, our strengthened boxes, which are supplied in Large and Standard sizes, protect your items against any damage that unsuspecting knocks might cause.

The bigger box option is ideal for clothing, bedding and other bulky items, whereas the smaller one is excellent for holding books, cookware, toys, files etc. But, please remember that to protect our drivers, we're unable to accept any boxes over the max weight limit of 30kg/66lbs.

  2. Then, complete the online documentation that you can find in your account area. The online documentation includes an insurance form, which is optional, inventory and Thailand customs forms, as well as uploading a copy of your passport and visa, if applicable.
  3. Finally, you’ll receive a notification via email and SMS the day before our driver comes to collect your boxes. The message will include the date you had chosen during the order process.

How to pack your boxes in 4 effortless steps

Packing your boxes correctly is vital when it comes to safely shipping to Thailand. To ensure a smooth delivery, we recommend the 'better to be safe than sorry' approach by following our four easy steps below (more information available in our Excess Baggage FAQs):

Organise your possessions:

Firstly, it is important to declutter and decide what you're going to send overseas. Prioritise what you're going to sell, donate, dispose of and ship. Then, plan ahead and delegate which items you’re going to pack into particular boxes to make the unpacking process quick and easy.

Protect your items for shipping:

Thoroughly wrap each item with bubble wrap to protect them from colliding during delivery. Place your heaviest items at the bottom and lightest at the top to avoid unnecessary damage.

Label and tape your boxes:

Once you’ve adequately taped your boxes, fill out the shipment owner’s full name, job number, and delivery address in the form printed on our boxes. This makes the process run smoother for you and our team when it comes to identifying which goods belong to you.

Make the necessary checks before we collect:

It’s important to make final checks to ensure you have everything you need, packed and ready for when our driver arrives on collection day to avoid any delays.

Also, don't forget that your boxes must not exceed 30kg/66lbs for our driver's safety. We recommend using bathroom scales for measuring the weight of your boxed items.

We shipped our items to Thailand using a MoveCube® and it was extremely easy and hassle-free - and getting through to customer services never presented any delays. All documentation etc sorted quickly and effortlessly, and everything went according to plan, on time, and the MoveCube® delivery to the address in Thailand was quicker than expected. Would genuinely recommend Seven Seas Worldwide's services to anyone who needs to ship items abroad.

Located in Southeast Asia, Thailand is steeped in history and culture that fascinates millions of visitors each year. From the wide variety of foods, tropical weather, beautiful beaches and endless amounts of outdoor activities, Thailand is a place where there's always something new to experience.

Bangkok

Also known as the Big Mango, Bangkok is a diverse city known for its vibrant nightlife and variety of food. From beautiful sculptures to bustling markets, the city is packed with things to do both day and night.
