Unfortunately, some shipments are being rerouted due to international tensions in the Red Sea, causing delays. Please read our blog article for more information.
How will this affect our services?
Due to a record-breaking surge of coronavirus cases in recent days, Hong Kong's government has announced that starting from Thursday 10th February 2022 they'll be ramping up restrictions in a bid to protect citizens from a fifth wave of infections. As a responsible company, your wellbeing is always Seven Seas Worldwide's primary concern, which is why we'll be putting additional measures in place during this time to ensure our services abide by these new rules and keep customers and staff safe.
The main changes to be aware of are:
- Our drivers will not be allowed further than the lobby of your building and, therefore, won't be able to assist with moving items for your consignment downstairs to the lobby when collecting or upstairs to your apartment if unloading a delivery.
- Our drivers will only be able to spend up to two hours at the location.
To help the process run as smoothly as possible, we suggest having all the items you want to ship securely boxed and wrapped and waiting in the lobby before our team arrive.
Also, asking family members to lend a hand with carrying goods downstairs for a collection or upstairs to your apartment for deliveries can make the process much less strenuous.
Although do ensure you adhere to government advice regarding social distancing and mask-wearing.
