Ship bags and boxes with our helpful packing guide
We recommended hiring a professional packing service to ease some stress. Otherwise, set aside lots of time, pack carefully and follow our handy 4-step guide below. For more comprehensive advice, reference How to choose a box for shipping and Preparing large items for collection.
Tightly seal your boxes:
Begin by gathering all your packing materials together, such as parcel tape and bubble wrap. Secure the base of your box by folding in the small flaps, then the large flaps and sealing them shut with several layers of overlapping parcel tape.
Cover exposed edges with more tape, then wrap around the bottom of your box. Once full, seal the lid using the same process.
Take care with delicate items:
Use bubble wrap on each item and two layers for fragile or valuable items. Place the heaviest items at the bottom of your box and lighter effects above and away from the sides.
Fill gaps with soft materials like packing paper or towels. Give your container a small shake. If it makes a sound, add more soft materials.
Complete your online inventory:
Log in to your account and fill in your online inventory — an itemised list of everything you're sending to Denmark. Danish customs officials will ask to see it, so accuracy is essential.
Using a marker pen, write the job number, box number, and shipment owner's destination country and city on two sides of each container. Reference your inventory to ensure all details match.
Get ready for collection day:
Each container has a weight limit of 30kg/66lbs for your and our driver's safety. Weigh all boxes and bags on bathroom scales one at a time. If one exceeds the limit, remove some items and place them in a lighter container.
For a successful collection day experience, move all your luggage as close to your building's entrance as possible the evening before.
Brilliant luggage delivery service. The best price I was able to find anywhere and the easiest process. They make it even easier by supplying you with boxes if you need them. Just tell them what you're shipping, get a quote, and a few days later, they pick up your things. Communication was brilliant, delivery brilliant - the whole service was brilliant!!!
