What boxes do we offer for sending belongings to Sweden?
Our international shipping service offers robust boxes to protect your belongings during their journey to Sweden. Made from chemically-strengthened cardboard, our most popular containers are Large and Standard. See below for the exact dimensions. We recommend overordering. If you have any unused boxes still in brand-new condition, we'll take them away at no extra cost.
Specially-shaped containers made from the same materials are available for sending guitars, skis, etc. Before collection, please wrap them securely. We'll then box your extra-large items at our nearest depot.
You can use your own containers. But please avoid laundry bags, plastic crates, used food boxes and bin liners. Since they break easily, they are likely to damage the rest of your possessions.

Ship luggage internationally with our handy packing guide
Consider hiring professional packers to ensure your belongings arrive in Sweden unscathed. Otherwise, give yourself plenty of time and follow our helpful 4-step guide below. For more in-depth advice, check out How to choose a box for shipping and Preparing large items for collection.
Strengthen your boxes:
Gather all your packing materials together, such as parcel tape and a knife. Seal the base of your container by folding in the flaps and wrapping them shut with several layers of overlapping parcel tape.
Cover exposed edges with more tape, then tightly wrap all around the bottom of your box. Once your container is full, seal the lid using the same process.
Be cautious with fragile goods:
Use bubble wrap on all items and two or more layers for delicate goods and items of value. Place your heaviest items at the bottom layer and place lighter things above and away from the sides of your box.
Fill gaps with soft materials like packing paper or towels. Shake your container. If you hear a sound, add more soft materials till it's silent.
Fill in your online inventory:
Log in to your account and complete your inventory (listing every item) as you pack. Customs officials will ask to see it, so accuracy is a must.
With a marker pen, write the job number, box number, and shipment owner's destination country and city on two sides of every container. Double-check your inventory to ensure accuracy.
Prepare for collection day:
Weigh all boxes or bags on bathroom scales. For the safety of you and our driver, the weight limit for each container is 30kg/66lbs. If a container is over the limit, remove some items and place them in a lighter container.
Lastly, for a smooth collection day, move all your boxes, bags and suitcases as close to your building's entrance as possible.
I am extremely happy with the service I was given for moving my boxes to Sweden at a very reasonable price. I booked last minute because the company I was planning to use had issues due to Brexit. Seven Seas Worldwide came the next day to pick up the boxes. The driver was polite and helpful. My boxes arrived before expected with no issues at customs etc.
