Send your shipment securely to Israel with our 4-step packing guide
It's essential to wrap and pack your delivery properly when sending it to Israel. For extra peace of mind, we highly recommend hiring a professional packing service. Otherwise, set aside lots of time and follow our top 4 tips below. For further in-depth packing advice, check out How to choose a box for shipping and Preparing large items for collection.
Secure your delivery boxes:
Bring together all your packing materials, such as parcel tape and a knife. Fold in the bottom flaps of your box and seal them shut using several layers of overlapping parcel tape.
Next, cover any exposed edges by wrapping all around the base. Once your delivery box is full of possessions, secure the lid similarly.
Be careful with fragile goods:
Cover all items in bubble wrap and use two layers or more for delicate things. Put heavy items at the bottom of your box and lighter effects above and away from the sides.
Fill gaps with soft materials like packing paper or tea towels. Gently shake your box. If it makes a sound, add more soft materials until it stops.
Complete your inventory:
Log in to your account and fill in the inventory — a detailed list of everything you're sending to Israel. Customs officials in Israel will have access to it, so accuracy is essential.
Using a dark marker pen, write the job number, box number, and shipment owner's destination country and city on two sides of every container. Keep your inventory nearby to ensure accuracy.
Get ready for collection day:
The max weight limit for each delivery container is set at 30kg/66lbs to protect you and our driver. Test each container's weight on bathroom scales. If one is over the limit, remove some items and place them in a lighter box.
Lastly, move all delivery containers as close to your building's exit as possible the evening before collection day.
There were no long wait times when I called and no convoluted voice system to wade through. The staff know what they're doing and were lovely to speak to. Timeframes for each event were achieved as promised, e.g. dropping off packing boxes and picking up boxes. Great value and constant communication. An amazing service so far, which is very rare these days with most corporations making it harder for customers.
